Yasna and her many lives

I never really know how to answer,

“Where are you from?” or “What do you do?”

Because the answer is, I am from a lot of places and I do a lot of things.

Hey I my name is Yasna, I am a Japanese and Afro-Trinidadian woman who has traveled to over 23 countries, and lived in several cities. I am a composer for film and live performances, the author of Werk Your Net, and a digital strategist.

I graduated from Columbia University for my Undergrad and the University of Southern California for my Masters in Music at the Screen Scoring Department.

My work has been seen globally throughout Spain, Dakar, Jamaica, New York, and Los Angeles. On top of that my work has been BAFTA nominated, featured by Sundance, VICE, Meta, The New Yorker, Converse, ULTA Beauty, to name a few. If you want to learn more, feel free to click through my website.
