ENGAGEMENTS:

• “STRAY DOGS, HYDROPHOBIA” film & art exhibit (Dec. 2023 - current):

  • Collaborated with visual artists David Kelley & Patty Chang to create score and be featured in film exploring topics around climate change, Jamaica, and colonialism. Flown to Jamaica to record Nyabinghi percussion w/previous collaborator of Bob Marley, Bongo Herman & traditional Kromanti music with the Charlestown Maroon Council. Attended International Seabed Authority in Kingston Jamaica representing Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary-TBA21.

  • San Jose Museum of Art: film was held as exhibition Nov. 1, 2024 - May 2025

  • Asia Africa, A New Axis of Knowledge 3, Dakar Senegal (Jun. 12, 2025)- Selected to screen in Dakar, Senegal. Preformed on trumpet/vocals with Senegalese local artist KALSOUM and her band for opening ceremony of conference.

  • LA County Museum of Art & Los Angeles Arts Center: Currently working on a commission to be live preformed at the LACMA on Nov. 6, 2025. Film will be up for an exhibition at the Los Angeles Arts Center in Pasadena in the fall.

• "Pretty Pretty Please I don’t want to be a Magical Girl” by Kiana Khansmith (Dec. 2024 - current):

  • Composed and produced score for short animation directed by Disney director Kiana Khansmith, video has accrued 3.5 Million views on Youtube starring all star cast: the voice actress playing Jessie from Pokemon: Michele Knotz, Aleks Le, Anairis Quinones, Christine Marie Cabanos, Shara Kirby, Marieve Herington, and Bennett Abara. Series has been picked up for further development.

• BAFTA NOMINEE “Many Thousands Lost” by Jehan Patterson (2024 - current):

  • Composed and produced music score for short by Jehan Patterson. Short premiered worldwide at the American Black Film Festival. Currently in pre-production to become a feature

• "THE SPOTTER” directed by Harry Locke IV (Dec. 2024 - May 25):

  • Co-composed and lead music department with Joseph Mohan for “The Spotter” feature film (currently in post) featuring: Rob Kirkland, Stefanie Estes, Alyshia Ochse, & Robbie Allen. Movie announcement is featured on DEADLINE

• Haru Hayate 春颯- Euphonium x Piano Duet (2025):

  • Commissioned to write euphonium and piano duet piece to be played by internationally acclaimed Euphonium player: Arisa Makita has preformed the piece during her global tour at Palau de la Musica in Valencia, Spain; and will continue her tour at the Newman Recital Hall in Los Angeles, US; and Japan.

• FIND YOUR PEOPLE FELLOWSHIP (2024-25):

  • 1 of 28 of 1,500 applicants selected for Issa Rae’s ColorCreative Fellowship. Scored, “Before You Let Go,” executive produced by Issa Rae and the Color Creative.

• DAWANG x CHOP SUEY SHOP x WERK YOUR NET (Jul. 2024):

  • Co-hosted block party w/ DAWANG, Rooted Eats, Yakult, & Chop Suey Shop: brought 400 guests & 10+ vendors promoting NYC AAPI

• KIDZSTARTER x WERK YOUR NET (Oct. 2023 - May 2024):

  • Partnered with See Ting Liu CEO and Founder of Kidzstarter to conduct personal branding workshops and public speaking in Singapore for 3 highschools & co-hosted think tank event with industry leaders in the education field

• META PROSPER CAMPAIGN (May 2024):

  • Featured by ‘Meta Prosper’ (Meta’s AAPI community page) to speak on my identity growing up as a mixed Asian person and my journey into art

• WARNER BROS POST PRODUCTION STUDIO (Feb. 2024):

  • Commissioned by Georges Delerue’s family to write 53 piece orchestra to record @ Warner Brothers

  • Scored music for documentary by UC Berkeley Journalism alumni, Myah Overstreet. Film selected for worldwide premiere at Sundance (2024) & acquired by the New Yorker (2023)

• VOTE.ORG x myBALBAO CAMPAIGN (Sept. 2023):

  • Featured on panel discussion w/Andrea Hailey, CEO of Vote.org to inspire GenZ voters for 2024 election.

• NIKE CHANGE MAKERS (May 2023):

  • Scored, produced, directed, modeled, and wrote script for digital media campaign and partnership with Nike x JD Sports. Campaign received 922.9K views on Tiktok and 113K on IG.
