They say “it takes a village,” and I was truly raised by a village. My “village” included my immediate and extended family, parents of other kids, teachers & mentors who saw something in me before I did, and people from all walks of life who genuinely cared for my well being. It is important for me to continue building a safe space for a multicultural community.
Previous events I have thrown include rooftop events, garden parties, and house parties. Recently I partnered with a woman owned event space: Rosa NYC which included an open bar, vendors, DJ, and a beautiful indoor and outdoors garden space.
